Performance Agreements that Work
Managers are asking people to do things all the time. When these
requests aren’t followed through in the manner expected it can be
costly on many levels. In this module managers learn the difference
between expectations and agreements and the importance of
establishing clear work standards. They learn and practice a process
that allows them to make requests that are fully understood. They
will know how to get a true commitment to producing the result
needed.
Confronting Performance Problems
When working with people there will always be disappointments and
the need to get back on the right track. Specifically, when
agreements are broken things can become tense. This module builds on
the PERFORMANCE AGREEMENTS THAT WORK module. It provides skills for
addressing broken agreements and solving underlying problems so the
results can quickly be produced while improving the relationship.
Managers will also gain mastery in handling defensive behaviors.
